It's unfortunate that there doesn't seem to be a common, legal method to alert people. I feel like hitting the brights behind them is a bit of a dick move, and tailgating is just dangerous. Usually, after giving them some time with a clearly open right lane, I pass slowly and give them the stare down. Usually they already have tunnel vision so they don't notice.

If they are really lingering I have no problems giving them two or three high beam flashes. Or I just go around.
